SONNI D'NERO

Hailing from the Gore Tuca community in Portmore, I was always a music lover from a very tender age, not only listening only to Reggae and Dancehall but to all types of genres of music.
I didn’t get fully involve in music until my teenage years at Bridgeport high school in Portmore, St. Catherine were my love for it increased. This talent was recognized by teachers, friends, strangers and church goers who all encouraged me to hone this craft. It took a while for me to understand more about the music fraternity. Due to my acceptance of many genres of music, my songs will sound rare and can be easily distinguished from other artistes. Delivering Lyrics backed by enthusiasm, metaphors and similes; my music is easy to catch on to. Lyrics aren’t everything, that’s why I focus on melody and flow which is soothing to the listener's ear. I’m not only a music artiste but a songwriter as well writing many genres of music.
Sonni D’nero is a name given to me by fellow family member years ago which stuck with me throughout these years
*GOALS*
I intend to be a dancehall/reggae icon recognized all over the world for my great music and love for the music.

I intend to win Grammys, IRAWMAs, and all the top awards in the music business.

I would love to open a studio franchise for young aspiring artistes from all over to be nurtured and molded according to their talents, so they can be great at what they do.

Uh-oh…………..D’nero
